For several months, Russia has been fighting the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. Hard work is being done on a daily basis to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of Russia's population in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 239 of April 2, 2020.
EKRA considers it its duty to contribute to the protection of society: we are a conscientious company; we continue our work on current and future projects and do not plan to stop. Our mission is to provide vital infrastructure to generate, transmit, and distribute electricity and heat for industry, public, medical and military facilities throughout the Russian Federation. Microprocessor relay protection devices, switching devices of all voltage levels, and control & automation system developed and manufactured by EKRA are vastly used, in particular, for annual summer repairs to prepare power facilities for a new heating season.
Back in December 2019, our company was included in the list of large, economically or socially significant organizations in the Chuvash Republic; Order No. 291–r of 04.04.2020 of the Chuvash Republic Cabinet of Ministers permits us to operate now on non-working days established by Presidential Decree No. 239 of 02.04.2020.
So we continue our work, albeit in a somewhat unfamiliar format: some of our non-production employees work remotely. However, we are not reducing our production capacity, the workshops are running as usual and there is strict hygiene to protect employees.
Since March 30, EKRA Shipping Department has dispatched more than 100 cabinets and over fifty relay protection IEDs. Currently, there are more than two thousand cabinets and relay protection IEDs in the assembly, installation, and adjustment areas. We have tightened control over current orders and are also ready to offer guarantees to new partners.
A high degree of automation, renewable stock reserves, and a well-functioning logistics system make us feel optimistic about the future. We are prepared for multiple scenarios and capable to handle any emergency situation.
We believe it is going to be all right and are always ready to lend a helping hand to our customers, partners, and colleagues.
