EKRA and InfoWatch ARMA have successfully completed tests on compatibility of EVICON software and hardware package and InfoWatch Industrial Firewall, a next-generation domestic industrial firewall.

The EVICON software and hardware package is designed to support the production process of power generation facilities by continuously monitoring both process parameters and equipment status parameters.

The InfoWatch ARMA Industrial Firewall allows to timely detect and block attacks on the control & automation system, attempts to exploit vulnerabilities, and protect against unauthorized activities in the industrial network.

The example of such a joint application represents new opportunities for the power industry to protect critical information infrastructure. Today, information security is playing an increasingly important role at power facilities of Russia. The reason for this is both the rise of cyber threats and targeted attacks, and the exit of foreign manufacturers from the Russian market. Implementing a staged protection of a process network improves the information security of companies and ensures the stability and reliability of electric power systems.
