Last week Cheboksary hosted the VI International Research and Practice Conference “The Relay Protection and Automation of Electric Power Systems of Russia” and the exhibition RELAVEXPO-2021.
The event was organized according to Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 865–r of April 3, 2020, with support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. EKRA acted as a general partner and provided its space for the conference and exhibition of electrical products, where visitors could learn about the latest developments in the field of relay protection and automation.
RELAVEXPO-2021 featured 45 companies, and during the three-day conference, 293 representatives of electric power and industrial companies visited the exhibition.
EKRA Group exhibited at its booth:
- EKRA high-speed automatic load transfer package (ShEE 211 1312) consisting of a control cabinet, combined with a micro DC system, and fast-acting high-voltage vacuum circuit-breakers

- New developments in the insulation monitoring system: insulation monitoring relay EKRA-IMS-IMR-02 and upgraded insulation monitoring system EKRA-IMS-IMD-01 IED.
- Test equipment from OMICRON, Austria.
During the exhibition, the following government delegation members got acquainted with EKRA products: Oleg Nikolaev, Head of the Chuvash Republic; Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Evgeny Gerasimov, Minister of Industry and Power of the Chuvash Republic; Elena Medvedeva, Director of the Department of Operational Management in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Ministry of Energy; and Grigory Gladkovsky, Deputy Chief Engineer of Rosseti PJSC.
For the first time, a separate zone displayed digital solutions for protection of power facilities with the possibility of their independent adjustment by dedicated specialists in cooperation with representatives of companies that develop and manufacture this equipment.
The next conference and exhibition will be held in 2023, we would like to invite everyone to visit Cheboksary – the relay capital of Russia!
