ZPU series rectifier is an AC-to-DC converter and is designed to supply the consumers with direct current and charge the battery.
Thyristor rectifier is designed to work as part of the operating DC system of substations and power plants, in uninterruptible power supply systems of power facilities, and can also be used as a stabilized DC voltage source of the enterprise.
Thyristor rectifier has the following main versions:
- single-channel
- double-channel with an additional channel for battery with tail elements
- double-channel with two independent channels
Front view
Thyristor rectifier is made in the form of one or several cabinets. Alarm equipment and the operation panel are installed on the front door.
Six main operation modes:
- Battery charge using “IU” method
- Battery charge using “IUU” method (mode with a boost charge stage with overvoltage)
- Battery charge using “IUIU” method
- Equalizing battery charge
- Manual mode (power supply mode)
- Battery discharge to supply network / Battery energy recovery to power grid (optional)
Operation panel
Сontrol, settings input and monitoring of the device is carried out through the operation panel. The operational panel is located on the front door.
