TZPU is a converter of AC voltage into DC voltage. It is designed for reliable power supply of DC power consumers, as well as charging and recharging batteries.
TZPU is made on the basis of a three-phase charger and power supply device with transistorized voltage converters combined into two rectifiers. It can be supplied both as a part of DC power supply cabinet and in a separate one-sided maintenance cabinet with overall dimensions (H×W×D) 1000×600×300.
Our rectifiers provide the following battery charge modes:
- float charging of battery with stabilized voltage
- boost charge of a discharged battery after an emergency shutdown of the battery
- equalizing charge of a deeply discharged battery
Manual control by operating personnel is also possible.

TZPU contains the following main units:
each is a unit of voltage converters connected in parallel. Converters are made on the basis of a bridge inverter with phase control and provide the conversion of the input three-phase AC voltage into the output stabilized DC voltage. Voltage converters provide galvanic isolation of the primary input and secondary output network
ensures uninterrupted power supply of the rectifier from the AC network by monitoring the voltage level in the network of main and additional inputs and switching the power supply of the device (voltage converter) from a non-faulty input
measures temperature on two sensors installed on the radiators of converters and the battery temperature sensor. According to a given algorithm, it performs parametric control of the rotation speed of cooling fans of the power units of voltage converters. All measured temperature values and fan states are transmitted to the charger controller via the RS-485 interface
provide measurement of battery voltage and battery charge current
based on phase voltage monitoring relay
provides uninterrupted power supply to all control and automation devices of the rectifier in the event of a power failure at one of the inputs or at the both inputs by providing power from the battery
