SBPPT series uninterrupted AC power supply system is designed to provide uninterrupted power supply to responsible consumers.
Primary sources for UPS system are an AC network and a rectifier, a battery or a DC network that are part of the UPS system.
To improve the reliability of the AC power supply, the UPS system may include static and maintenance bypasses that connect the load to the back-up AC network in case of failures or the absence of DC voltage.
Power can be supplied from the UPS system to automation devices, automatic process control systems, computers, emergency lighting, video surveillance and security systems, responsible consumers at various power facilities.
Front view
The UPS system is a low-voltage complete device in the form of a cabinet.
Alarm equipment and the operation panel are installed on the front door.
For high powers, the matching transformer is installed next to the converter cabinet. The external transformer is enclosed.
Converter cabinet provides air, natural or forced cooling of the elements. Forced air cooling reduces wear of fans by controlling them based on temperature.
Operation panel
The control system, depending on the version of converter, performs the following functions:
- monitoring state of battery and DC power network
- monitoring state of AC power network
- monitoring temperature of power section
- indication of operation modes
- communication with PCS or test computer
- input and output of binary signals from external devices
- receiving commands from operating personnel and specifying settings
- measurement and indication of currents and voltages of converter
- adjustment of converter voltage and current
- monitoring state of protection and switching equipment
- self-diagnostics
