EKRA-LVDC-SKR system is designed to perform battery discharge using direct current in order to determine the health of a battery.
The user can select three discharge modes:
- Constant current,
- Constant power,
- Constant resistance.
Microprocessor control panel is used to select the discharge mode and set up parameters. Battery discharge automatically stops when the voltage reaches the preset minimum value or when the preset discharge time expires
Microprocessor control panel
Panel offers the following capabilities:
- discharge parameters setup
- input overvoltage protection
- display of preset and current discharge parameters (voltage, current, capacitance and discharge time)
- ability to automatically restore the discharge in case of its accidental interruption with retaining all data
- temperature monitoring of power electronic switches, enclosure and ballast resistor, room air temperature monitoring
- automatic shutdown and disconnection from the battery after the preset time is expired, or the preset minimum voltage is reached
- keeping record of discharge process and saving it in the internal non-volatile memory. When the monitored discharge in completed, its results can be displayed on LCD screen or saved on a standard USB-flash drive
